Some bras earn their place in your underwear drawer because they simply work, and the Triumph Amourette 300 WHP is one of them.

A longstanding Triumph favourite, it combines pretty floral stretch lace with softly padded cups and lightweight underwires to give a beautifully rounded shape without feeling overly structured. The scalloped lace edging and tiny rose at the centre add just enough femininity to make this feel rather more special than an everyday bra. 

Why we love it

This is exactly the sort of bra I like having amongst all the silks and elaborate French lace at Amélie.

It’s comfortable, dependable and easy to wear, but still pretty. The half-padded cups give shape and coverage without turning it into a heavily padded bra, while the stretch lace makes it wonderfully wearable for everyday.

The softly padded cup gives a smoother, rounded shape under clothes, but you still get the softness and flexibility of lace. Deep Water Navy is also a surprisingly useful alternative to black. It works beautifully under darker clothes but feels a little softer and more interesting.

And as always, don’t get too attached to the number on the label. How the bra fits you matters far more than the size you think you should be.
