Like a tiny embroidered garden, Libertine en Fleurs is one of those Lise Charmel bras that is almost too pretty to hide.

Delicate pink, fuchsia, blue and green flowers appear across whisper-light pale blush tulle, creating a beautifully romantic, botanical effect. The satin embroidery is complemented by scalloped detailing and small gold-tone rings at the straps.

But this isn’t simply a pretty bra. BCJ3039 is Lise Charmel’s deeper-cup supportive half-cup shape, designed to give excellent support while retaining the open, feminine neckline of a corbeille bra. 

Why we love it

The embroidery is exquisite. Up close, you can really see the different colours and textures in the individual flowers, yet the pale tulle keeps the overall effect delicate rather than busy.

It’s also a particularly useful Lise Charmel shape. You get the prettiness and décolleté of a half cup with considerably more support than you might expect from something this delicate.

The Amélie Tip

Don’t be put off by the E cup.

Cup size means very little without the band size beside it. A 32E isn’t an enormous bra, and if you’re currently wearing something like a loose 34D or 36C, you may be surprised by how beautifully a properly fitted 32E can sit.

With this half-cup shape, the breast should be completely inside the cup with the underwire sitting behind the breast tissue. If you’re spilling over the embroidered edge, the answer is a larger cup, not a looser band.
