A rather special find from the Amélie Archive.

Created as part of the Elie Saab x Aubade collaboration, My Desire brings the glamour and intricate detailing of the couture house into lingerie.

In Secret Date, deep black tulle is covered with dramatic graphic embroidery threaded with subtle pearlescent Lurex. Transparency allows the embroidery to appear almost suspended against the skin, while a small gold-tone Elie Saab jewel provides the finishing touch. 

Why we love it

Because this isn’t simply another beautiful black brief.

The Elie Saab collaboration makes it particularly collectible, and up close the embroidery is exceptional. Tiny flashes of gold catch the light against the black, giving it that slightly decadent evening feel without becoming flashy.

The high-cut Italian shape also makes it incredibly flattering.

Don’t hide this one at the back of the drawer waiting for an occasion worthy of it.

The higher-cut leg visually lengthens the leg, while the sheer sides keep the shape light on the body. Make sure the embroidery sits smoothly rather than pulling across the hips. If you’re between sizes, we’d favour comfort.
