Beautiful lingerie doesn’t have to be saved for best.

Aubade’s Softessence collection was designed to combine the femininity and detail you’d expect from Aubade with the sort of comfort that makes you want to wear it every day.

In Espresso, rich chocolate-brown tulle is decorated with tonal floral embroidery with a soft, almost velvet-like appearance. The back is made from exceptionally soft seamless tulle, giving comfortable coverage while remaining discreet beneath clothing. 

Why we love it

It’s the combination of pretty and practical.

You still get Aubade’s beautiful embroidery and sheer detailing, but the smooth Brazilian back makes this much easier to wear beneath everyday clothes than some of the more elaborate Archive pieces.

It’s also made using 100% recycled embroidery. 

The Amélie Tip

This is a particularly good shape if you like a cheekier knicker but don’t want a thong.

The seamless soft-tulle back is designed to minimise VPL, so it’s a lovely option under trousers and more fitted dresses. Don’t size down. The back should skim your bottom smoothly rather than cutting across it.

Our Archive is home to beautiful past-season lingerie, discontinued colours and those last few sizes that are simply too good to disappear into a stockroom. Occasionally an Archive piece may have a missing or imperfect tag after being stored or displayed, but all pieces are brand new and unworn.
