Dark, seductive and rather fabulous, Magnetic Spell is Aubade doing what Aubade does particularly well.

The Mystère colourway combines delicate floral embroidery with graphic black edging and beautifully sheer sections that allow the embroidery to appear almost painted onto the skin.

The 2D27 Italian Brief has a flattering, feminine cut with good coverage, but Aubade adds a decidedly more daring finish with cut-out detailing, slender straps and a tiny gold-tone jewel. The embroidery itself is made in France. 

Why we love it

This is one of those pieces that looks even better on than it does on the hanger. The neutral tulle almost disappears against the skin, leaving the dramatic black floral embroidery to take centre stage.

Sexy, yes, but beautifully sophisticated with it.

The Amélie Tip

An Italian brief is a brilliant middle ground if you want something more revealing than a traditional brief but don’t particularly enjoy wearing a thong.

Make sure the embroidered edge follows the curve of your bottom rather than cutting across it. This style should frame your shape, not squeeze it.

Aubade lists the embroidery compositions as 50% polyester, 35% polyamide, 15% elastane and 71% polyester, 25% polyamide, 4% elastane across the different embroidered sections.
